Bennett

I had the blue team for both my pregnancies.  First, with Noah (the little itty bitty baby in the photo with his dad), our team consisted of Connie, Genevieve and Sarah.  The level of care was unparalleled, and I'm so thankful we chose to go with Access Midwives verses an OBGYN.  We had 24/7 access to professional care, and additional ultrasounds closer to the end to follow baby's growth and development.  The team was incredibly receptive to all of our choices and never once did we feel forced or led to a decision which was not our own.  Genevieve was amazing in the delivery room and was such a wonderful support person (while also delivering the baby!).  Noah was in the NICU for 5 days afterwards and Genevieve made sure to stop by and check on all of us, multiple times ❤

When we found out we were pregnant with Bennett, I couldn't imagine having anyone else by my side.  Thankfully, they were able to squeeze us in and even accommodated my request to have the blue team again.  I'm so glad we were able to have the same team - they knew my medical history and I felt the same level of intimacy with the team, despite the COVID restrictions.  There were no complications and Connie got us into the last delivery room in the hospital!  Connie was such a good sport with my wishes to be unmedicated again and dealt with my sauna-level shower heat haha I couldn't have done it without her, and I'm so thankful for her strength and help through it all ❤

Love to you all and I'll probably be back 😉  Bennett's a little angel.  The kids are luring us into a false sense of confidence hahahaha
