I feel so lucky to have heard about Access Midwives when I had my son 4 years ago, and even more thankful to have had them again for the birth of my daughter this past September. Connie and Genevieve were my midwives (and Lynnlee who I never met but who was so helpful on our phone conversations). I cannot say enough good things about that team. I was so nervous and worried about having to give birth during a pandemic, but to be honest I didn't feel scared or anxious at all during the process because I knew I had Access Midwives who were just a phone call or a page away. 

Connie was present at the birth of my son 4 years ago, and it was so nice to have a familiar face for this pregnancy. She was incredibly thorough during all of my clinic appointments, and so helpful answering all of my questions during the homebirth visits. 

Genevieve was the midwife I saw for the majority of my appointments and I was so fortunate to have her present at the birth of our daughter, Julia. Even behind a mask, she had the most comforting smile during some hiccups that came up during my pregnancy, and was so incredible at helping me during every contraction during my labour. I will forever be indebted for her for that! She was so patient at answering all of my questions, and even included our son during the homevisits for our daughter. He loved getting to listen to his sister's heartbeat, and still talks about the "swing" his sister got to sit in. I am so grateful to have had the 6 weeks of help after bringing our daughter home and am so thankful for their expertise when it came to breastfeeding, weight gain, poop colour, and all of the other million questions that come with a newborn! 

You can really tell that Geniviene and Connie are so passionate about what they do. We feel so lucky to have met them, and so thankful for all of their help.
