I have had the privilege of using Access Midwives for three of my deliveries as well as the compassionate care of my midwives through a miscarriage. Each of my pregnancies was challenging in some way or another and we couldn't have done it without their support.
Due to some health issues I acquired between my 2nd and 3rd baby, my 3rd was considered "high risk". I was told that technically I didn't need a midwife since I was being "managed" by the high risk obstetrical team at McMaster. Needless to say, I wanted my midwives back! Not just for delivery but for the support they offer before, during and after delivery. Access Midwives (specifically Tamara and Simone) were happy to speak to and collaborate with my OB for which I am very thankful!
My primary midwife, Simone, came for my C-section (even though it was her day off!) and I received the best of care.
I can't even begin to express how thankful I am to have the support of my midwives. The collaboration between Mac Obstetrics and my midwives was seamless. They were both happy to work with the other. I had the high risk care I needed as well as the loving support for me and Payton before and after, including home visits.
An amazing job Access! Thanks for taking such good care of our family!
