The Nash Family

My name is Kelsey and I gave birth to the most beautiful little boy almost a year ago on November 28th, 2019.

I have had the honour and privilege of working alongside the amazing midwives at Access as a labour and delivery nurse! When I got pregnant with my second baby, there was no question about who I would be asking to care for our growing family - my midwife was actually one of the first people I told, Tamara knew before my husband did!!! My entire pregnancy was perfect - Tamara, Simone and Erin (as well as every other employee of Access midwives, the front desk staff are AMAZING) took such amazing care of me and my family. They explained every single step in amazing detail and took care to ensure that my husband, who had no idea what to expect, was well informed and knew exactly what was going on and what to expect next. My labour was as good as it could be and when I was ready to give up due to the pain, Tamara was right there with me coaching me through it all. I cannot express how amazing it is to have people at your birth that you know and trust!!!

Postpartum care is really where my midwives were rockstars - they made sure my new baby and I were healthy, established feeding, cared for my mental health and even made sure to check on my husband and older daughter. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this amazing group of midwives to anybody! Thank you for being such an important part of our story!
