Hi there, I am Elise! I am a dedicated midwife and have been part of the Access Midwives team since 2010. I find immense joy and fulfillment in supporting the journey of motherhood. What fuels my love for midwifery is the opportunity to build meaningful relationships with families as they navigate through one of the most amazing and challenging times in their lives. The trust and connection formed during this transformative journey make every birth a unique and cherished experience.

My love for midwifery blossomed early when I participated in a high school co-op at a local midwifery clinic here in Hamilton. The turning point came during that placement when I had the incredible privilege of attending a birth with a midwife – an experience that ignited my fascination with the
miraculous process of birth. Since graduating from the Midwifery Education Program at Laurentian University in 2010, earning a Bachelor of Health Sciences degree, I've been practicing at Access Midwives ever since.

My connection to this vibrant city runs deep, I consider myself incredibly fortunate to call it home. I take immense pride in contributing to the health and happiness of families in this dynamic city. Hamilton's unique charm and the resilient spirit of its residents inspire me daily, reinforcing my
unwavering commitment to delivering exceptional care. This connection to my hometown fuels my passion for midwifery, as I strive to make a positive impact on the lives of mothers and infants, ensuring that each birth is a celebration of the strength and beauty within our community.

Personally, I am a proud parent of two wonderful children, and this experience has deepened my understanding and empathy in both my personal and professional life.
