Emma Seager, General Registrant
Emma has been a practicing midwife in Hamilton since 2016 following her graduation with honours from Laurentian University's Midwifery Education Program. Prior to midwifery, she completed a Bachelor of Arts & Science at McMaster University where she became interested in midwifery after studying global maternal health.
In addition to her clinical work, Emma is a Research Fellow in the McMaster Midwifery Research Centre and is the recipient of a 2019 Association of Ontario Midwives research grant. She holds a Master of Science degree in Health Science Education from McMaster University.
Emma enjoys working as a clinical preceptor for midwifery students and is an Assistant Clinical Professor (Adjunct) in the Department of Family Medicine at McMaster.
Emma considers it a great privilege to build relationships with Hamilton-area families throughout the life-changing experience that is pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. When not working, she enjoys exploring Hamilton's many waterfalls and bakeries.
