Rachel Elliott grew up out west with family in both British Columbia and Alberta. After graduating high school she completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts in visual arts from Memorial University in Newfoundland. It was three years later that she first heard about midwifery as a career while attending a quilting retreat in Quebec.
Rachel graduated the McMaster midwifery program. She is excited to be working with Access Midwives and is looking forward to getting to know the staff and clients. While not originally from Hamilton, Rachel feels quite connected to this city and is proud to be an active member of many local communities.
In addition to being passionate about midwifery, Rachel enjoys Crossfit, learning to crochet, and tending to her house plants and two cats.
