Brown Family

We were with Access Midwives for both of our pregnancies.

In 2019 we were with Ashley, Sarah, and Genevieve for the birth of our daughter Clara. I ended up being induced and ultimately had a c section and Sarah was there with me the whole way. She helped us to feel calm and to feel very secure in our decision to move forward with the c section. They were so helpful in answering my questions as a first time mom, and were always just a page away if I had any issues or questions.

This past October (2021) we were with Ashley, Lisa, and Suzanna for the birth of our son Arlo. I wanted to try for a VBAC, so I was able to consult with an OB while still being primarily cared for my the midwives. I had a very long labour and Lisa and Suzanna were there with me and helped me navigate the totally different experience than my first. They encouraged me to stick with my goal of having a VBAC and ultimately it was successful!

Being cared for by Access Midwives is so wonderful, and helped to make both of my pregnancies and births calm and happy experiences!
