Olivia Marquez, Yellow Team

Hello, I'm Olivia! I am thrilled to be joining the Access Midwives team and I look forward to helping you during this meaningful and important time in your life. What I value most about midwifery is building strong trusting relationships with clients. This is truly the most rewarding profession and it is a privilege to be involved in your pregnancy and postpartum care.

I am a graduate from the McMaster Midwifery Education Program. Prior to midwifery, I worked in public health research after completing my Bachelors degree in Life Science and Masters degree in Health and Nutritional Science. In my spare time, I continue to be involved in midwifery related research projects through the McMaster Midwifery Research Centre.

When I am not working you can find me just about anywhere outside searching for sunshine, making banana bread, spending time with my partner and family, and daydreaming about the next place I want to travel.

Olivia will be starting her Maternity Leave January 1, 2026
