Alex Green Pucella, Yellow Team

Hi! I'm Alex, and I'm excited to be joining the talented group of healthcare professionals at Access Midwives as a Registered Midwife.

I was first introduced to midwifery through my mom, Lois. She chose midwives to care for her during her pregnancy with me in the 90's, shortly after midwifery became regulated in Ontario. Her positive descriptions of her birth experience led me to explore midwifery as a profession. Although she passed away in 2024, I am thankful that the profession I have chosen will forever remind me of her.

I completed the final year of my training as a midwife here at Access Midwives through McMaster University's midwifery program. Through my time here, I gained a deep appreciation for the relationships I built with clients and being able to assist in such a life-changing moment in people's lives.

When I am not working, I love curling up with a good book - and I'm always looking for book recommendations!

I feel so fortunate to be a part of your journey. Thank you for including me in your care!
