Cait MacLennan Penman, Purple Team
Hello! I'm Cait. I am a graduate of the Midwifery Education Program at McMaster and have been with Access Midwives since 2013. Before pursuing midwifery, I completed an Undergraduate degree in International Development and a Master's degree in Peace and Conflict studies. A lifelong interest in birth and pregnancy led me to midwifery. I grew up in Oakville, Ontario but have called Hamilton home for the last 15 years. Outside of midwifery I enjoy spending time with family and
friends- particularly my husband and three young kids (all born with help from midwives at Access). I also love cycling, running, travelling, reading, and exploring the outdoors. I consider it a great privilege to support families through the process of pregnancy, birth, and beyond. I believe that pregnancy and birth are transformative experiences and I'm honoured to play a small role in that journey. I look forward to meeting you!
