I graduated with honours from the Midwifery Education Program at McMaster University in 2012, but my journey into this career began more than a decade ago with the birth of my nephew. The significance of that event and the compassion of the midwives in attendance had a profound effect on me, and so I set out on the path of becoming a midwife.
Along the way, I completed a degree in Psychology with a minor in Religious Studies at the University of Waterloo. I married my high school sweetheart and am now the proud mom of three amazing children. When I’m not practicing, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, baking, and hiking.
I’m privileged that my passion has led me to Access Midwives. It is a genuine pleasure to work alongside such talented midwives in a great community. And it is an honour to join moms and babies in one of the most meaningful events of their lives.
