April 1st, 2022, the day our daughter Emily was born, was undoubtedly the greatest day of our lives, and a large part of that is because of the amazing care of the Purple team at Access Midwives. Throughout the nine months of our pregnancy, Simone, Kate, and Erin provided us with endless support, guidance, and reassurance. They answered any and all of our questions, and as first time parents we had many! Each of them took the time to get to know us and understand what we wanted out of our journey into parenthood. The day we went into labour Erin was on call and walked us through every part of the process, creating a calm and peaceful environment. She was an amazing cheerleader when it came time to push and made sure to take pictures for us once the baby arrived so we could enjoy the moment. The home visits afterward were a blessing - such a luxury to be checked on while in the comfort of our own home! We are incredibly grateful for the care of our midwife team and the support of all the staff at Access Midwives. We will certainly be recommending them to anyone we know!
