For my second baby born in July 2020 I was so fortunate to have been under the care of Emma, Kristen and Cait. I felt very cared for every step along the way when navigating a pregnancy and birth in the early days of COVID. At every appointment I felt heard, was able to ask questions and never felt rushed. I had a few minor medical issues during my first pregnancy and delivery, but my midwives were very thorough when reviewing my pregnancy history and evidence based for my medical management and I didn’t have any complications with this second pregnancy!

I can’t state enough how comforting it was to already have a relationship with the person delivering my baby. I felt much more relaxed and supported while giving birth which made for such a positive birth experience. Cait delivered my son at Mac and she was fantastic! I also loved having the postpartum and baby wellness visits in my own home, without having to worry about getting to a doctor’s office with my newborn and toddler. It was also very convenient to be able to call one of my midwives when I had questions about my son’s wellbeing in between visits.

I am so thankful to Emma, Kristen and Cait for the care that my son and I received and I highly recommend Access Midwives!
