“In January, my husband and I had our first baby with Access Midwives. Amanda, Rachel and Beth gave amazing care all throughout the pandemic.
The day I went into labour Rachel was amazing and came to our house to check in with us and she was such a support during a good chunk of my labour until she switched over with Amanda.
I have a huge thank you to say to Amanda and Ashley(I believe that was our secondary). My pregnancy and labour were mostly healthy and normal, but the final few minutes of pushing became critical. Amanda and Ashley were very professional and jumped into action to do everything to ensure our little guy was okay and taken care of in a scary situation. The weeks that followed that he spent in the NICU I received so much support from Amanda and Rachel I never would have received if I hadn’t used a midwife. To say I felt supported would be an understatement. Their home visits after Liam came home were a godsend with all the appointments Liam had to attend.
Liam is thriving due to the care he received from both Access Midwives and McMaster NICU team.”
