I cannot say enough great things about my experience with having a midwife, and with Access Midwives. The level and quality of care I received before, during and after giving birth was unmatched. The monthly checkups and 24 hour on call service were invaluable to my peace of mind as a first-time mom. My midwives were knowledgeable, insightful and well versed in their trade as well as other resources that greatly benefited me during and after my pregnancy. It was indescribable having a team of midwives there the day I gave birth. Having someone there who's sole focus of care was me, having someone who was in my corner gave me strength and peace during a very difficult time. In addition, we could come home from the hospital with a newborn, confident that I had my midwives not only coming to my home for checkups but also on call for anything that came up in the first few weeks. More than all of that, my midwives were caring, compassionate, understanding, welcoming and made me feel safe and well looked after. I didn't have to worry about a thing because I knew they were there. It was literally the best thing I did for my pregnancy and I will do it again!
