This was my second time with Access Midwives and once again had an incredible team to support me. This pregnancy was completely different than my first filled with some health concerns for myself and my baby.

As we approached my due date, the size of my baby was determined to be in and around 11.5 lbs. I was instructed by Elise and the OB team at McMaster that for the health and safety of my baby and I it was best that I give birth via caesarean.

On April 10 a beautiful 10 lb 5 oz baby girl graced us with her presence and I couldn’t be happier to have Elise and Susanna by our side.

I can’t thank Kristen, Amanda, Elise and Susanna for all of their support throughout the pregnancy and postpartum. We are all doing well!
