I wanted to reach out to share our baby story. We were privileged to be cared for by Nicole, Madeleine and Sequoya and received incredible care throughout the pregnancy. I looked forward to all of my appointments as I knew I would be met with mutual excitement, kindness and evidence based interventions. I am so incredibly grateful to these three amazing women who encouraged and empowered me throughout a pregnancy that was harder than anticipated and threw us a couple curve balls. Our birth was not quite what we pictured but Nicole and Lisa made it an amazing experience and provided incredible support. I will never forget how empowered I felt as my little boy entered the world. Nicole was the calm competent practitioner I needed in the storm that was my labor experience. The moments in which our boy quickly entered the world were absolutely magical and the care we received in the days following was unparalleled. Our little one required extra follow up and the team was incredibly supportive, nurturing and encouraging while also providing honest evidence based recommendations. I cannot thank these ladies enough for the care they have provided us. I will miss being a patient at Access Midwives!
