"I had my beautiful healthy baby girl in August 2022. I had an unmedicated/natural water birth in a birthing tub, just like I wanted, and was in labour for 9 hours in total. My midwife Beth was so supportive of my plans the entire time and she provided amazing support while also being hands off and letting the natural birthing process unfold. I am so grateful I had her by my side that day as well as Genevieve and Sequoya who assisted Beth. The aftercare that Beth provided with the home visits was also amazing and so appreciated. I had such a positive birthing experience thanks to my midwife team and cannot recommend midwifery enough! Thank you Beth, Genevieve and Sequoya"

"I had the blue team for both my pregnancies. First, with Noah (the little itty bitty baby in the photo with his dad), our team consisted of Connie, Genevieve and Sarah. The level of care was unparalleled, and I'm so thankful we chose to go with Access Midwives verses an OBGYN. We had 24/7 access to professional care, and additional ultrasounds closer to the end to follow baby's growth and development. The team was incredibly receptive to all of our choices and never once did we feel forced or led to a decision which was not our own. Genevieve was amazing in the delivery room and was such a wonderful support person (while also delivering the baby!). Noah was in the NICU for 5 days afterwards and Genevieve made sure to stop by and check on all of us, multiple times ❤"

"Satisfying, surreal, amazing… just a few words that can’t even come close to describing the awesomeness of that experience."

"Tamara laid babe on my chest and What. Absolute. Relief! (Along with a rush of oxytocin and other feel-good hormones.) They had Miguel check to see whether it was a boy or girl and at that moment I totally thought he was going to say “boy” (even though for the entire pregnancy I was convinced it was a girl). After a moment he said… it’s Maggie! And omg I couldn’t believe it… another GIRL and a sister for Ellie!"

"All in all, I’m SO happy I was able to stay in the right mindset to be able to experience a natural birth."

I feel so lucky to have heard about Access Midwives when I had my son 4 years ago, and even more thankful to have had them again for the birth of my daughter this past September. Connie and Genevieve were my midwives (and Lynnlee who I never met but who was so helpful on our phone conversations).

"We were lucky enough to work with Elise, Ashley and Lauren as well as Juanita who was a student at the time. All the necessary pieces and parts of prenatal care were there, with the appointments being thorough, patient and informative, but I think the areas where our midwives really excelled were highlighted during the birth and beyond.

It was such a wonderful and positive experience to have the person (Elise) who I had gone through all the ups and downs and arounds of pregnancy with, be in attendance to bring my newest most important person, into this world. I gained confidence in a anxiety provoking experience because I knew that someone I trusted and had built a relationship with, who knew my worries and wishes for my birth, would be there to support me and my husband."

They were so sweet and helpful with everything. Rachel was one of my main midwives who did home visits post birth and she sat with me for long periods of time just connecting and talking and exchanging stories of life, I truly appreciated it.
If I ever have a 5th (oh my) I would use access midwives!

"Being a first time mom who suffers from anxiety I was worried about most common normal things, from cramps to the vomiting you name it so when I finally met with Cait all of those anxieties were put at ease. I was actually able to hear the babies heartbeat at that appt, and from then on it was a piece of cake. My prenatal care was seriously so amazing- Emma and Kristen who were also my midwives were so so kind and helped answer any questions I had. Fast forward to the birth, COVID was fresh and the midwives took every precaution to help ensure our safety. I was so impressed with how they navigated their way throughout this world wide pandemic."
